Longboard Dancing

Weekend Camp

You want  to learn longboard dancing, but don’t know where and how to start? You know the basics, but want to further develop your skills or work on your flow? Then this might be perfect  for you: From October 3–5, 2025, I am offering a longboard dancing weekend camp in Cologne. In six consecutive workshops, we will go through the basics of longboard dancing together or — if you already have experience — go into more detail. After this longboard camp, you will not only have learned and internalized the basic steps, but you will also take home enough inspiration to train on your own in the future.

Procedure

Since October 3rd is a public holiday, we will start the workshops on Friday. A total of 6 lessons await you, with the last lesson being a free session where I will address any personal concerns you may have. Thanks to my years of experience, I know exactly what is important at the beginning. The dancing workshops therefore also include exercises that will help you improve your balance and increase your board feel. If you have already taken a course with me or attended another camp but would like to improve your style or work on details, you are also very welcome.

lerning contents

During the workshops, you will learn a colorful mix of longboard dancing steps, which we will then combine. These include skiers, cross steps, Peter Pan, body varial, 180 step, 360 step, ghost ride, lookback, etc. I will show you how to create smooth transitions and what is important when you want to create your own dancing combinations. Those who already have some practice will work more intensively on carving and precision in order to develop more flow and find their own style. I will also show you the first trick you do with a longboard dancer, namely the “180 pivot.” Here, too, you will receive input that will allow you to continue working on the trick on your own in the future.
